National defence academy (NDA) is national level exam conducted every year for selection in defence forces like Army, Navy and Air forces. This exam is conducted by UPSC .NDA exam is conducted twice in a year in month of April and September. NDA 1 and NDA 2 both exams having same syllabus, exam pattern, selection process.
2.Age for NDA 1=2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2003.
Age for NDA 2=2nd July 2001 to 1st July 2004
3. Only unmarried males are eligible for this exam. Candidates not be marry until they finish their complete training.
4.Girls are not eligible for this exam.
5.10+2 pass or appearing students are eligible for this exam.

1.Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices and determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geo of 2 and 3 Dimensions, Differential calculus, integral calculus, different equation, Vector Algebra, Statistics and probability.
2. GAT( General ability test) are divided into 2 parts A ( English) and part B consist of section A, B ,C, D ,E ,F.
Part A English : vocabulary, grammar and usage comprehension.
Part B : General knowledge.
Section A physics ( 10+2) level.
Section B chemistry : preparation of Hydrogen, oxygen ,carbon-dioxide , (10 level) .
Section C General sicence ( biology 10 level).
Section D History( freedom and movement in India)
Section E Geography ( earth and it's whether and climate )
Section F current events

Maths. 1. 120. 2:30. 300
GAT 2. 150. 2:30. 600.
Total 270. 5 900
2. For every correct answer we get +2.5 marks for every incorrect answer we get - 0.83 marks.
3. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

For every incorrect respond: -1.33 marks
